HI Ron,
Are coins submitted for DR cracked out before being reviewed?
Or reviewed in the holder with grade visible?
Or reviewed in the holder with grade obscured?
How many grader(s) participate?
Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,
Coins submitted for Designation Review are cracked out before being reviewed so that the graders have an unbiased look at the coin and they are not influenced by any prior grade.
The number of graders varies and may eventually include all of the graders, if necessary, to reach a concensus.
Best wishes for the New Year,
President
