Ebay help, problem seller..

Hey guys I need your help. Recently I started to try and put a 64 Topps set together. I won an auction for a PSA 7 Yastremski. I paid the seller the next day by USPS postal money order and had it sent with signature confirmation. The seller recieved the payment and left positive feedback. I made the payment on the November 26th. I have emailed the seller several times. She finally responded that the card was being shipped. It has been about 9 days now from when I got her last email. The seller is vanlots. Vanessa the seller indicated that the card was being shipped as I stated and still no card. I have been patient but now I am a little concerned. I sent up a dispute (item not recieved) to ebay, hopefully to get her attention. Has anyone had any dealings with this seller?

Please advise and thank you for your time.........Rob

No I have not dealt with this seller, but I do have a card that I paid the same day I won it, back on Nov. 28th and received a feedback the same day and still have not received the card. Getting a little concerned, I guess. What makes me upset is that I have sent message twice through Ebay and not one response. I would just like a reply.

I would advise giving it a little more time. In 500+ ebay transactions, many with money orders, I've only failed to receive 3 items, and only one still kinda irks me. None were that pricey tho.

I wouldn't be that concerned about it just yet.

It seems like most ebay sellers don't give a rat's ass about customer service.

If you are that concerned, Get the seller's information and phone number thru ebay and give them a polite phone call.

The response is kind of vague. I would rather hear from the seller - "the card was/will be shipped on tuesday" e.g.

That way you know exactly what to expect - I recommend contacting and asking exactly when it was shipped.

If you still get vague answers - it's time to hit ebay.

edit: Rob - this person has a 98% rating - most of which involved a person not getting their item.
Either they're unlucky with the PO - or full of crap?

  • Thanks guys, I was just a little upset. I always try to pay the next day at the latest. Seems like some folks don't care. What is odd is I bought a PSA 8 the other day from mrmcillian and it shipped so fast mario andretti couldn't keep up. She lives in Lake Elsinore CA wherever that is. Your right i will get her phone number and give her a call. She is selling some high end stuff, I just hope the other buyers don't expect quick shipping.......

Don't rule out slow USPS this time of year. Priority is running 6 days (based on some Amazon purchases I've made recently).

I predict arrival by December 15th. Good luck!
P.S. I think Lake Elsinor is around LA somewhere.
  • I hope your right....
