I'd assume there's wax stain somewhere, because the odds are very low (IMExperience) that a card would get a qualifier because of those tiny print spots.
  • How would you value it?

    I'm new

If you notice it is only a gum stain on the front, I would crack and remove the stain and resubmit.

  • edited -- saw the back scan in another thread, nothing obvious there

    crack and re-submit

  • If properly cleaned would it stand a chance at an 8

If it's wax on the front, you can easily remove it with SOFT cloth, such as a t-shirt. Use your finger inside of the cloth, and wipe slowly in small circles until the wax is gone, and buff lightly to remove any stray wax and "polish up" the card. In the past I've heard of using cheesecloth and panty hose, but I found the chances are high of scratching the surface of the card with those. A soft, well worn t-shirt seems to work best.

Also be careful when working you don't hook the corners with the cloth or your work will be for naught.

If the wax stain is on the back it will be very difficult to remove without some kind of solvent, but that will be easily detected by any reputable grader.
  • Thanks for the advice -

If you're uncomfortable with the idea of cracking the card and so forth I'll give you $65 bucks for it (which is about $30 or so less than a straight 7 would sell for, but slightly more than it would sell for in it's current holder). If you're interested PM me.
