It is a little weird that a guy would have a zero feedback rating after being an Ebay member for 5 years, but then if you were running a scam why would you pick these cards? I'd think you'd do what the rest of the scammers do, and that's to take a swing at the fences with the a stolen scan of a PSA 8 '53 Mantle or something.
Keep in mind that PayPal's Buyer Protection Plan has severe limitations on sellers' accounts with less than 50 FB. Buyers are essentially limited to recover from "seller's existing funds;" if none exist, a problem arrises.
Using a credit card will make it safe.
The photos appear to be all from the same source.
The age of the account - and its stale nature - could mean a hijacked account.
If the cards close below $200.00, his insurance charge is a technical listing violation, but I think he is not acting in bad faith on the issue.
If I wanted the cards, I would bid on them.
