  • I`m liking Ike`s ..............i guess you will break up your set afterall
  • nah, I think they're actually duplicates of his!

I'm not a variety collector, but I collect what I consider major design changes, like 1909 with or with out vdb cents, and small and large date cents, and the 1979 WR and NR SBA's. Unfortunately it looks like I'll someday need a TI 1972 Ike, as it's a major difference from a TII or TIII. I guess the TII is more of a mistaken variety and so I won't need that. I guess it'd be nice to just have all three anyway, but I won't be able to afford the TI and TII anytime soon.

I don't think "THE KING" is ready to step down just yet. image

I see where the POPS on the 1972-P TY 2 MS66 just went from 4 pcs to 5 pcs today so it looks like JAMES made a "BIG SCORE"

    CONGRATULATIONS James on making a 5th 1972-P TY 2 MS66 IKE!!!!! image

  • Holy Cow! Congratulations James. I've heard your former TII was already super nice. I saw Roger's at the Fremont Show, and was very impressed with that one. Who's did you think was better? Regardless of type, I want the best 72-p I can find. I would love to try to trade in my TIII for a nicer TII but I'd nead a few years probably to pay off the difference!

    Nicely done James.

In some ways I wish I would have stayed with Ikes but I really like my XF45 Barber Halves. Both are as rare as hens teeth.
