Where to buy frames with UV protected glass?

I have a MLB authenticated game used line up card I would like to display, where can I get a good uv protected frame for it? I want to do everything possible to protect it, short of burying it away in the closet.

All advice appreciated! image

I buy all my frames for my Art work at Michaels. Any good art store will have UV protective glass along with mats that are not acidic. The acids of old backing and mats burn photos and anything framed inside. It causes foxing and the paper or photos to burn, destroying the print or picture. Anything old and valuable should be taking out and re framed using this method. Hope this helps. Joe

  • I too use Michaels - In addtion to the UV protective glass, I would suggest the Non-glare as well.

Thanks for the advice. I don't have a Michaels near me but I do have an AC Moore. I will have to stop in there and ask what they have.

    NewJerseyMeatHook,

Great idea! That way everything I look at will be protected! image

  • any framing store should be able to help out or point you to a place that can. Depending on the size needed - may not be cheap.
