I don't know what the % would be - but from my POV - if it's a really high profile HOF'er from the prewar days - most people will accept the sig and pay the going rate - e.g. Babe Ruth personalized sig.
Now - if ya talking about a modern day sig like Cal Ripken? If personalized? I would say - not in high demand - the actual % drop - I'm not sure - but it could be substantial - e.g. on an 8x10 photo.
BTW - I'm no expert or anything on this - it's just an intuitive guess.
I've always wondered the same thing. I see the Babe's sig personalized all the time, and if there was one to "Don" I think I would be more willing to go after that one just for the novelty. But I am not at all experienced in this endeavor.
