that was already mentioned on these forums a few times....

Same style and unrealistically low price "too good to be true"

People who keep thieving from others shouldn't get more chances....should just be shot and done with.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Try clicking on the Bidders List. It opens up an email. Weird.

Every link on that page opens an email link.

    WTF?

Read the HTML source. They do a lot of things, like resize their source image. All you are ending up with is a big image (s.gif..and other images too) wrapped by an href mailto over the top part of the (most of the) page and anywhere you click on the page will go to your mail program.

Nope. An eBay lot that goes nowhere is still very cheap advertising (spamming) to a large and focused audience. Their intent is not to sell a lot, which they might not even own.

What is particularly scary is that they could have quite easily href'ed to a nasty CGI server link instead of a mailto URL. A significant fraction of the folks who clicked anywhere would fail to look up at the address bar (which can also obfuscate the maneuver) to realize they had left eBay. I could do this so darn quickly that it is scary. At least the report link is at the bottom, outside the control of the lister.

Ths could be far more dangerous. As it stands it is just spam.

    Yep.

I did a hover over and noticed that it was the mailto all over the place. Whole thing (until you get down to Shipping, etc) is a big graphic.
People like that need put out of our (my) misery.

I have reported this same person at LEAST 5 different times. E-bay has USUALLY removed their listing. Including 2 of them I reported yesterday. Please help me out and report them too. With a BIN of $2950, how many people jumped on it and won't receive anything? Is this a hijacked account? I try to protect new and unsuspecting people as much as I can by reporting people/listings like this as I can. BUT, I can't be everywhere all the time. I think I've reported over 1,000 listings in the last year alone. Ray
