Okay, this is not a series that I feel comfortable grading, but I see one mark on the right thigh, some chatter on the left calf, some well hidden marks in the eagle's wing, and a little discoloration on the center obverse, which shouldn't effect the grade. The strike looks pretty strong, but again it's not a series in my comfort zone.
I don't see why it wouldn't get a MS65.

I don't have it in hand to give details why it is. I can sense some rub on the high spits, which is usually the culprit in keeping coins this nice from being GEMS. The 1908-S comes VERY noce...in fact I'd say it's the best struck coin until 1915. Many of these look a grade higher than they are assigned...they seem to be held to a higher standard because of the strike.

One 1908-S is enough for me. I'm saving my ammo for the 1907 Ultra High Relief PR68 in the FUN sale.
