In all honesty, I'm not a big fan of the streaky toning.

    It's ugly. Don't buy it!

You shouldn't ask us - you should ask your "better half", Mr. Mushroom image

I guarantee you she can tell you way more reasons not to buy it!

She would say 'buy it' so she isn't of any real help.

Not the best photos, but they suggest problems in my opinion. There may not be problems, but from those pics there could be.

seriously... the images are a problem, not only because of the fact that the toning likely looks alot worse than it really is, but the pictures lack depth so it is impossible to determine lustre, quality of the surfaces and come up with a reasonable grade

That's what I was thinking Michael and 'kat. For some reason the images just don't do it for me. I would love to see the set in person though.

They might look great in person, but I would not take that chance.

The color of the 2p makes me wonder. The other coins don't look so bad.

Because it's ugly and the coins are screaming to be dipped.

    Problem coins.

Looks like they had an old cleaning and are now retoneing (ugly)

    A couple might be AU

You'd have to do a lot of work on them and get lucky to make it worth your while...

I would love to see the set in person though. Most sellers will e-mail you additional images, especially if you compliment them on what you've seen, but would like to see more.
