Thanks kalshacon! New bust half dime with pics.

I just picked up a nice half dime from board member kalshacon -- he may be fairly new to this board, but if this coin is any indicator, he has a good eye for early type! We made a nice trade and I got this beauty. The die marriage is a very common one (1832 LM-7/V-9). The coin is in a PCGS holder (at least for the time being...I crack out most of my baby busties). The coin appears to be light golden on the obverse and a touch darker gold on the reverse. This coin represents a nice upgrade for my collection. Excuse the lame photography, it's the best I can do for now. Thanks go to Cladiator too for introducing me to kalshacon

A great pickup and upgrade for you BarnDog! Very eye appealing half dime. I'm glad that both parties came out on top in yet another excellent, problem free transaction that would never have happened if it weren't for this forum.
ps. I want to get my hands on that bad boy to properly image her hehe
<< <i>That is a pretty coin. I'd be willing to bet your old one was not shabby.
Interestingly, my old one is an NGC MS-62! I consider this coin an upgrade insofar as eye appeal goes. The AU-58 is correctly graded as is the MS-62. I just like the look of this one a whole lot more. I pulled the old one out of the bank box yesterday and I'll be taking it with me to the FUN show to sell or trade. My personal goal for my set of half dimes is to have all die marriages and remarriages in the grade of XF or better. That goal allows me to make trade-outs like this one.
