My Basic/Master lists finally posted... wanna kill some time?

I know there's a sep. board for set registry topics, but I'm so exstatic my request finally came through, I thought I'd share them with anyone that wanted to kill time checking out a few of my Sabo's....

Sabo Basic

Sabo Master

It took almost a full year for PSA to generate my Sabo requests... much longer than I thought it would. There are a LOT of cards not in their lists, so I have some work to do to get several more cards added.

Again, nothing to fancy here, just something to kill time if you're interested.

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

Russ, that is awesome glad to see your hard work and dedication to your favorite player come to fruition. I noticed in your bassic sets you didnt have any 1990 donruss, lfleer,or topps. I may be able to find a few of mine if you still need them. I cant believe you dont have some already.

Good luck on your Sabo Sets

Barry... thanks for the support! I have hundreds of raw '90 Donruss, Fleer, and Topps... just haven't had a chance to go through them all to pick out the 'gradable' ones yet. Even at $5/6 a shot, it's amazing how quickly these things add up. I always ALWAYS have a Sabo or two on every submission. Eventually, I'll just have to send in one Sabo-standalone submission. I still have several more to add... most of which aren't on their checklists.

If you're willing to toss your extra Sabo's my way, I'll find a home for'em! No matter how many of a single issue I have, I'll always make room for more!!!

  • Congratulations Russ! That is awesome. It's gotta feel good. I'll probably find myself picking up some late-80s/early-90s oddball sets along the way for my Greenwell set so any Sabo's I come across I'll be sure to shoot them your way.

Almost a full year for the set to get entered, huh? Looks like I'll be seeing a few more modern specials before the Greenwell gets up there. image

Congrats on finally getting them up and running. Its a great feeling. It took awhile for the Favre set to appear as well. I have some others that I want to start but need some PSA cards first. So it might be a year by the time they are live.

    Russ,

I may have a few as well. I ripped a ton of 90 product when I first got back into the game 6 years ago. I was a Sosa fan image

I'll see what I can find.

  • It's about time Russ. I've been looking at the set request page regularly and it pained me to see Sabo still up there for all this time. Good things come to those who wait I guess.

Question for you though--no minor league cards on the Master Set? Is that standard for PSA registry sets?
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Wow, thats great. Whats really cool is the fact that you started the master set being 61% complete.

    Congrats!

Ya, he has 1 minor league card... an '87 Hill Nashville Sounds card. The Master (and Basic) listings are missing several issues. The Master has 89? cards listed... but I have over 300 (actually recognized) different cards of his. Of course, this doesn't include the several misc. non-recognized singles like the Broders, and local issues. I've got a lot to be graded, but I'm pretty picky. Unless I think it has a shot of at least a 9, I won't bother. I've missed in a few, but usually do alright.

    Lot of work to do!!!

    This card is a beauty!

This is a tribute to Sabo and he owes you his first born! image IMO, he was a darn good player and a good guy to boot.

Good luck on getting your additions and completing the set.
