totally confused with the new registry

Today is the first time I accessed the new registry and tried to add another coin.
I saw a space called 'quick add' or something like that and now the new coin shows up in my 'inventory'.
For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get that coin INTO my registry set.
I looked at the help section, and I'm totally confused.
Can anyone give me SIMPLE steps on getting my coin INTO my registry set?
Thanks
Mike

  • you added the coin in your inventory...which is something you have to do now anyway. The quick add option does not give you the option to add the coin to all applicable sets though. If you go into your "My Inventory" and click on "add inventory"..then you can add a cert # and check off the option to have the new system automatically add it to all sets that you are currently registered for. Be that as it may, now you need to go into "My sets" and open up each one of your registry sets. When the set comes up it will ask you if you want to "commit" or "rollback"....and you want to click on "commit". That will send the coin or coins that you have waiting...into your sets.

Tried to keep it short. Hope this helps.

If you added the coin to your inventory you can go to "My Inventory" then you can do a filter for coins that match your current set and add them to your sets.

Also Mike, once the coin is in Inventory you can go to the set and you'll see on the right side where the coin would be that you can just click add coin to set.

  • I've tried all of the above and it's still not working.
  • I've gotten the new coin in my inventory, but cannot get it into the set.
I even created a new set, was able to import all the coins in inventory except for the one new one that is in it.
  • This could just be a glitch..i had 2 coins with this same situation..let the pcgs folks know and they will help you.

I don't like it much either, It takes along time to add a coin. You need JAVA which means I can enter the coin on my computer and I need to do the last step, actually puttting the coin into the set, at work. Must have been programmed by the same people who did the downgrade at the USPS.

People are getting nuked for minor infractions over on the coin forum. Here, where the rules have been clearly stated forever, certain dealers can do what ever they want. A prime example is on page one right now by a big time dealer.

    Geez....
