Y'know how the date was always nearly the first thing to go on some Buffalo nickels and Standing Lib quarters?

Here's an amusing opposite... the date on this coin was apparently the last thing to go- in fact, it's practically the only thing left!

I don't even know what it is. It's approximately small cent-sized, copper, and European.

I presume it's from one of the German or Austrian states.

Oh, yeah... and it's from 1656. That's the one bit of info I have. image
