Jason Kidd, 38 pts, 14 asts, 14 rebs.

Wow. And the ESPN headline is "Nash pours in 42."

It was a double OT game, but 38-14-14 is insane!

  • I was flipping around and saw that NJ was up 3 with a few sec left in regulation didn't foul Phoenix. Considering Nash and Bell were, at the time, a combined 9 for 10 beyond the arc, it doesn't take rocket science to realize one of them would take a 3pt shot, and they're shooting well. Are coaches ever going to learn?

They did foul Nash (Carter did, and he fouled out as a result). After the foul, he ended up making a three, though...

That had to be the most entertaining regular season game between two teams I don't usually root for or against that I have ever seen.
And a "triple 14" is pretty good. I think only Wilt Chamberlain (and possibly Larry Bird) have ever pulled off the "triple 20" in a game. I do remember watching a game where Bird had a triple double by halftime.
I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy!
