“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly."
So what is the problem? here? What he says is true. You should have been there when the coins grading certificates went from black and white to color photos. Then then the market became two tiers. They did a good job. PCGS is better, encapsulation is better by far, but at the time ANAC's was where it was at. I have 4 Anac's graded 20 libs, I call a dealer today he offers 610 each, I tell him they are anac's graded he wants to pay $600 each. Give me a break AU58, MS 60 $20. Libs are practically bullion. Coins are coins. Holders are plastic and people are human and the people grade the coins.

I see no amusement here. Just a decent company celebrating their 34 years of business of serving collectors.
Did not see the ad. Went right to the story about the history of the half dollars. Talked about the '76 Kennedy, but not the accented hair. How can an incomplete article get published?

I see we have a couple of rocket scientists on board.
Boy sure took them a long time to certifiy that first coin. My records say they open for business on April 12th 1972 and they say the certified their first coin June 15th. A two month turn around for the very first coin!

He offered you less because he knows he has to reslab them in order to readily sell them.
If you disagree with this approach, why not become a coin dealer and pay $610 for every ANACs $20 Lib you can get your hands on.
