OT: DC Radio Station Giving Away . . .

a COWBELL autographed by BLUE OYSTER CULT!

Wouldn't that be a terrific Christmas gift for our very own LAWNMOWERMAN, Matt?

Wonder if PSA would be willing to slab that piece of memorabilia?

Knowing mine and your luck, NJM, we'd send it in only to have it come back 'not holdered: Questionable authenticity".

"I got a fever".........really I do. I've been down for the last week or so. Good thing I didnt have to work this week or I would have ended up face down in somebodys hedge.

"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

    MORE COWBELLimage
  • Few weekends back, this same station had the 10 Best Cowbell songs of all-time. Very cool.

If I can remember, a few off the top of my head include:

    Mississippi Queen
    Honky Tonk Women
    Jane
    Low Rider
    Hair of the Dog
    Reaper (Of course, was #1)

...I know I'm forgetting the good ones!
