Take them to court if you don't get your coins. That will teach the how to type. If you did a BIN where you bought at a higher price than they were worth would you be liable for payment?????
Neg em if you don't get your coins

Do you mean "That will teach them how to type"??? Relax, Jim---see how easy a typo happens!?
It's obviously a mistake, and I would be going ape if I had made that error. I would probably honor the sale, just to keep from getting a neg. I sort of feel the seller's pain.
My rule is to let the seller make the first move after this happens. You will receive a message that is either humble or vicious. If they are nice, make a reasonable offer on the item. If they are mean, I usually force them to email me back and forth 20 times about some made up orphans that I promised the coins to for Christmas... then I drop the issue.
If the seller is willing to do the honorable thing, then it's only fair to let him off the hook and at least make a reasonable offer rather than rub his nose in it.

<< <i>The seller made a mistake, and the winner should not expect the seller to honor the BIN, at least I wouldn't .. >>
I agree. That's the moral thing to do. But since when did principles, morality and doing the right thing mean anything to some people? In a perfect world, the people who want those sets because the seller screwed up will one day make a huge mistake themselves in some area in their life. And they will be treated just as they've treated others.

Its scumbags like you that want the free lunches, expect something for nothing, and have no ethics. You are probably one of those sitting in your living room in your trailer, drinking PBR, and complaining the wealthy haven't done enough for you.
I see these threads all the time. "WISH I HAD SEEN IT". It's a blatent mistake. Want a good deal?? Steal your neighbor's golfclubs when their garage is left open overnight!!!

Anyone else see the irony here?
You said "the" and not "them." Will that teach you how to type?
Bottom line is, people make mistakes. Reasonable people don't expect someone to follow through on the mistake to the extent of "taking them to court" if you don't get the coins.
Besides, the cost of litigation would likely be more than the value of these coins.

I agree, let the seller make the first move. In most (not all) cases the seller will contact you of the mistake, and if humble/embarrassed I would let em off the hook. Someone wrote the other day about there is no Santa Claus in numismatics.

you're living in the land of make-believe. Neg the seller all day, no coins coming.

That's what I was thinking. It's clear they meant to start it at 99 cents, but who's fault is it they put it in the BIN spot?
