    Are you using a tripod or resting the camera on something? If not you may want to try doing so..
  • Try a straight on shot, I notice that people that sell coins on ebay use the angle shot to hide imperfections in the coins they are selling. It's very hard to tell the coins grade from these pics.

    Was interested in a past post where a member used coffee grounds in a bag to hold the coin...with 4 cats, it's a little hard to do but at least you can see the luster.

    Will re-shoot tomorrow

    Here's an example I just shot. Using a tripod, timer release, and white balance adjust with natural ambient morning light. Try any of these things individually or in combination and see if they help:
