On their website they are offering a 1988 "70 Years of Independence" Trojas Unce 3 OZ Piefort Gold Coin from Latvia that they say is unpriced in Bruce catalog and only 7 minted.

Is this a real coin or some kind of medal or something else? Anybody ever heard of a coin like this? Thanks,

I was thinking if Russia is so HOT maybe the former Russian Balkan states will eventually heat up too.

Uhhh, this is not an official mint issue. Bruce listed exotica are not the real deal and even if attractive generally not collected in the same sense. Wouldn't pay too much premium above bullion...
