In case you missed it, CIVITAS has new goodies...

Some new nice stuff over at Josh's place. I picked up the pieces below to feed my copper fetish. I'm finding Quarter Farthings to be a fairly scarce commodity these days, so I pounced, even though one is a duplicate of a date I already own.

Great Britain 1/2 Penny, 1853. EF. $30. I like the deep red/brown toning on this one and it didn't cost all that much.

Great Britain 1/4 Farthing, 1852. NGC MS63 BN. I already have this date, but I want to compare this piece with the one I have. This one looks quite lustrous. I'm hoping that the marks on the obverse are on the slab and not the coin...

Great Britain 1/4 Farthing, 1853. NGC MS62 BN. Ah Hah!!! A date I didn't already have.

I got to see those 2 quarter farthings in October and I was sorely tempted by them. image

I did pick up a 1839 quarter farthing in a NGC 64 BN suit though from Josh at that time. image

Becky, I can't BELIEVE how cheap that went. We paid well over $100.00 for that one. Who would have thought an 18th century British medal would go for fifteen bucks?

    Nice buy. image

Go to this page and click "World Gold Only"

There's also new Medieval and Ancient gold, but no link to go straight to them. Maybe I should change that.

    Josh,
You may want to consider that change. I've visited your site many many times and always click "World Gold Only", never linking to Medieval to look for Gold. You have some nice gold in stock !!!!

Received the coins today. I like the quarter farthings, especially the 1852. Gotta love coins that make U.S. dimes look huge... image

Unfortunately no Monaco, Norway, or Portugal from the 1800s or early 1900s.
