What country is this coin from??

I'm more of a US-coins person.

Someone gave me a bunch of silver coins tonight and this was in it. It's partially worn on the reverse. Date reads 1929. I'm guessing Canadian dime???

  • If it's the size of a US dime, it is probably Canadian KM#23a, 2.328g of .800 silver (.06 oz ASW), which had a mintage of 3,253,888.

    The 2007 Krause values it at $1 VG-8, $2 F-12.

Charlton values it at Can$2 in F-12, and doesn't give a value for lesser grades.

    Bullion value is about 84¢.
