PCGS submission help requested

Hello,
I’m looking for some guidance regarding PCGS submissions. I’d appreciate any input from knowledgeable submitters. I've talked with PCGS customer service but they seem more confused than I am.
It’s been awhile since I’ve submitted any variety coins. It used to be if the coin wasn’t a PCGS recognized variety but was in the Cherrypickers Guide it had to be submitted as an error coin. However I see many variety coins on the market that are non-recognized varieties yet are holdered but not as errors. My question is what service are these coins submitted under and what is the cost?
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
John

i did not identify this on the paperwork. the pcgs graders know what they are looking at. send your coins in and they will be labeld accordingly.
