I'm having a real hard time getting my extra stuff sorted.
I had everything I bought prior to the 72 packs (about 8 or 9 boxes)in stacks of 1-50 mixed, 51-100 mixed, etc before I opened all those packs then I went out and bought 6 more boxes. So now none of those are sorted. Bought 10 packs the other night, and 2 more boxes on my way home tonight. I'm getting stupid with this stuff. I'm down to 4 SPs to finish off the set and a few inserts. But I keep buying more boxes LOL.
Sorry I never got around to posting my list. Just having fun ripping packs again I guess.
Still, the only auto I've got is the Ryan Howard red, 9 regular relic cards and 1 Musial seat relic and 41 Chromes and 9 Refractors (no blacks)
Clemens refractor and Yogi Berra bat in same pack and about 10 packs later: David Wright Black Refractor #31/58 (my first one of those) and 1 card I actually needed towards the set
Are the Team names that are in yellow worth more? I have a #2 Clemens in yellow team lettering. Is it worth more? How much more are the yellow lettering?
I'm a vintage collector but have been buying blasters at Walmart for the hell uv it.

I picked up a single blaster box at Target today just for something to do. I was kind of bummed that there were no chromes or refractors, but this picked up my spirits. I think this is the only game used bat card I've ever pulled that I considered keeping.

I just have a quick 2007 topps heritage question. Does Nick Swisher have a reg. SP card?I have 4 of his yellow team cards, but no white or other color team card. Does this card exist?
Look at the difference between the font of the team name and the color of the team logo. One will be the variation and the other is the SP. Not sure which is which - I don't think it much matters, though - I've pulled both in equal amounts.

I bought my 20th box tonight and got my 2nd auto pulled a Justin Morneau red #55/58
OT - bought 3 boxes of Topps series 2 tonight also and after opening 2 of them, I'm only missing one card for a whiteback set but did get that missing card as a redback. Pretty impressed with that mix. Like a matched pair of boxes
Nice auto's down there. I bought twelve boxes and didn't get any ink.
Now that most of the buying, selling, and trading is done how does everyone store their sets. This was my first heritage set and I feel the need to do something other than put it in a card box.
I put mine in an album with 9 pocket pages (single sided only) like I would with any of my vintage sets. The 3 insert sets, the 42 mantles, and the 25 Arods are in there as well at the end of the album. It displays very nicely, and they are readily available for my viewing pleasure anytime I like.

What's the difference between blaster boxes found at Target etc and hobby boxes?
Any different odds/chances of pulling an auto/relic? I've gotten at least 3 inserts per box but only one bat card of bj upton and hoped for something better.
The only real differences are that the 1 of 1 cut signatures, and the box toppers which are the felt team logos, could only be found in the Hobby version.
Just got back from out of town. I found 3 packs of heritage at a Cracker Barrel in Louisana...pulled nada. If anyone wants to trade any real one autos I would be very interested. I don't have any vinatage, but I have just about everything else.

Odds of pulling an auto weren't the best for me. I now have 20 felt logos (so I've bought 20 hobby boxes) and atleast another 3 boxes worth of packs, and about 10 blaster boxes and have only pulled 2 autographs. Atleast the 2 I pulled were good ones - Ryan Howard and Justin Morneau (both red #/58) And both came out of the hobby boxes
I got a late start. Haven't collected in years but am trying to get a 2007 for my son born in February so he can have a set for the year he was born. I've been buying the blaster boxes as they are the best deal, at least in the area I am in. Any suggestions other than trades to get the SP's I need since I don't have enough to trade for them all?

BIG Thanks for pointing this out about the SP ratio in the single packs found at Sports Authority. I stopped by my local Sports Authority and bought 3 packs. I got the Jeter, Walker, Pudge All star, Vidro, and Perez sp's.
I also got a lot of cards I needed for my set plus an ARod, Mantle, and Musial/Hafner TN card. All together around $50/$60 in cards based on Beckett OPG.
Not shabby for $9. I'm going back to buy the other packs.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

I bought my 20th box tonight and got my 2nd auto
pulled a Justin Morneau red #55/58
OT - bought 3 boxes of Topps series 2 tonight also and after opening 2 of them, I'm only missing one card for a whiteback set but did get that missing card as a redback.
Pretty impressed with that mix. Like a matched pair of boxes
I need 3 chromes to close the book on '07 Heritage.

What's the difference between blaster boxes found at Target etc and hobby boxes?
Any different odds/chances of pulling an auto/relic? I've gotten at least 3 inserts per box but only one bat card of bj upton and hoped for something better.
any real one autos I would be very interested. I don't have any vinatage, but I have just about everything else.

Odds of pulling an auto weren't the best for me. I now have 20 felt logos (so I've bought 20 hobby boxes) and atleast another 3 boxes worth of packs, and about 10 blaster boxes
and have only pulled 2 autographs. Atleast the 2 I pulled were good ones - Ryan Howard and Justin Morneau (both red #/58) And both came out of the hobby boxes
