Which South American country is the least popular among coin collectors in demand for their coins? Which is the most popular?

I would agree with Ajaan on Brazil, although I assume Argentina and Chile have strong collector bases due to their large European communities. If you include all of Latin America, then Mexico or Cuba might compete for the top spot. Least popular would have to be Guyana or Suriname!

Oh my, I do not think so, especially for Peru. Peru and the other two nations have a very diverse and desirable history of post-colonial coinage.
Guyana and Suriname do not really come into their own until the relatively recent past. Of the older Latin American independent states, Paraguay may be the most underappreciated.
