Is it keeping this card from a 9?

    The centering and the tilt wont keep it from a 9 it was most likely something else. i.e. corners, surface etc.

    It looks like the combination of t/b centering and surface issues. I have an 8 as well and it has the same "gum dust" on the surface.

    I think it is the tilt more than the centering that is keeping this card from a 9. If you resubmitted 5-10 times, you may eventually get the 9 grade, but I don't think it is an obvious flip.

    It's because of the cloud on the card. Almost all Elways and Marino's have the cloud.
    Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
