Got to the hotel in downtown Boston a few minutes before they opened the bourse to the public. I went specifically looking for Draped Bust Quarters and Draped Bust Halves. Quarters were non existant and found about half a dozen Halves. A few real nice ones. Teaparty had some and the PCGS 1806's looked much better in person than on the web site. Seemed to be more Early Bust Dollars this time than in recent memory, but no one seemed to be interested and they were all priced high. Saw alot of Capped Bust Halves in VF-AU. Barbers and better date Seated material was scarce this time as well. Good selection of ancients and darkside. The Boston area seems to do quite well in that material. More ancient collectors than you might think. I traded 2 ancients I wanted to get rid of for a very high end 1797 2 Pence/ thick planchet. As far as Morgans go, I did see more circulated scarce dates than normal. Decent amount of gold with a spattering of early Tens and capped bust quarter eagles. All in all I had a good time and came home with something.
