Anyone else have delays on orders logged in?

I sent in three invoices that were received by PSA on November 22nd. They are still not logged in. I have called a couple of times (last customer service rep I spoke to was about as friendly as a wall) and was not provided any information that I was on any time of problem list. I was told that the orders are backed up due to the Thanksgiving break and they plan on logging orders in this weekend to catch up. I was also told mine was probably not open because I did not put the service level on the outside of the box (frankly, I didn't even think of doing it because there is no guaranteed turn around time on the specials). Anyone else still waiting? Seems like everytime I submit, I get caught in a mess like this. I love my timing....

i have 2 they've received and not entered. i have 2 others 10/31 and 11/17 that are in the system. the 10/31 is a small tallboy sub.

also, i did not put the service level on the outside of the box.

I sent off a 26 card submission under the November special on Monday (11/25), and they were logged on Thursday (11/30).

I DID put the service level outside the box. I guess that paid off. Hopefully my grades will post quickly too!

Same here, and like above, no service level.............I've got a small johnboy sub logged 11/03. The past few years I've never had any sub out longer than a week.

The non-labelers must be in the penality box with a broken clock.

Oh well, maybe the grades popping near Christmas might be a great gift for me.

Wait the special continues in December. More properly labeled submissions to move to
the head of the line past mine.

I labeled mine on the outside. I always label it on all four sides plus the top with sharpie just to make sure it's visible. I had two separate subs this time, the first time I've done that in one box. Rec'd 11/25, called on Tuesday when they weren't logged in yet, they were logged Tuesday evening 11/28. Would love to have them back before xmas but if the grades will be better if I wait, then I'll wait.

Always make sure you label the outside of the box and the top of the submission form. I neglected to label the box once and it was 10 days before I called to ask WTH and they went in back and found it. I had submitted under the 5 day service but forgot to mark my box. FYI, your 45 days (or whatever your turnaround is/would have been, does not start until the package is logged in as received. I missed a 50 card submission I was bringing to a show because I didn't label the box properly.

Sent on 11/27, received at PSA on 11/28 (I live about 20 minutes from PSA) and entered into the system on 11/30. The key is to put the service level on the outside of the box.

It is cool that PSA extended the Nov special. If they would have announced it sooner, I would have waited till next week and dropped them off at PSA Public Friday to save me a few bucks.

I've sent in 4 submission since August. Every submission I've sent in was on a Saturday, the latest 2 weeks ago. One was logged on Monday, and the others on Tuesday. I always write the service level on the outside. The last submission was posted yesterday - a week and a half. The others were all posted the same week as logged.

sent mine 11/17 still no post......cc special may have been covered up by postlady taping up the edges....not sure,i just know that no matter how many times you check your sub, it does not make it go faster!

According to the USPS, submission received 11/25 and still not acknowledged by PSA.

I've left an answering machine message and an e-mail and gotten nothing but an auto-reply.

Is there any recent evidence that PSA is making any headway in their back-log?

I had a delay (my order was received on the 29th) so I called PSA today and found out that my order was actually already done the had just not released the grades because my credit card had not yet been charged by the accounting department. So, the very nice young lady from customer service said she would email accounting and have then process the payment. Five minutes after i hung up i checked online and the grades had been posted...

Just an update:

I talked to a customer service rep at PSA today. He says that the US Postal Service messed up over Thanksgiving weekend and dumped 5 days worth of deliveries on them when they got back from the holidays. And because they sent a bunch of people to a Pennsylvania show, they are behind in responding to messages concerning order status.

He says that deliveries not entered into the system are not being worked by graders, they are still in unopened boxes. He says that they are processing the deliveries on a FIFO basis, and he says that he believes they are currently working on deliveries received 11/23 or 11/24.

Oh well, I'll be patient and wait, as I was told by customer service that CU is really busy!
