Yeah its great , i`ll be going tomorrow . I`m only 10 minutes away so i`m loving it. sure beats the hour drive to FT Washington !! anybody else going to go ?
It sucks. I have to drive a friggin' hour and a half to it . It will come back down to King of Prussia soon. People aren't going to go all the way up there, they made a mistake. chaz
This show had amazing pre-war material from t206's to Dukes to cabinets. I cannot comment on pricing (although I doubt it was cheap), but material was there. What wasnt there were people. Reading is near nothing and the expo center is difficult to get to. Altogether I had a great time, seeing folkd I havent seen since Willow Grove days!
I bought a few Milk duds and one of those 1950 All Star Pin Up books. Almost bought a Cobb off fromm K&K that was technically only a 4-5, but a beautifullt centered oversized card. Might go back tomorrow.
p.s. Al Rosen didn't remember me. I might cry myself to sleep. However, saw Mike Wheat, Tony Busineau, Brian Dec, Ron Oser, Kevin Strauss, Mark Skerbe, Levi & Jimmy, Terry Knouse, and a whole bunch of other old farts.
Wondo , not sure when you were there , but today (saturday) seemed like a good day as far as people go . It looked just as full as i remember in FT Washington . As far as getting there i found it to be much easier to find then the first time i went to Ft Washington . Not a problem
Plenty of vintage material all around , and modern if that is what you were looking for . I collect oddball material Prism Jewel , Fournier estrellas stickers , San Diego rockets Jack in the box , promos and test issues , all of which are few and far between .
I did have a good time though , as i took my 10 year old son with for his first expo show . He was a little overwelmed with all the cards to look at , but we made it . all in all i thought it was a good show and am glad it came to reading !!
