Thoughts on Old Judge cards, also, question from this era of baseball.

Hello Everyone,

I am a Rocky Colavito, and a 1959 Topps collector, but I was wondering what are people's thoughts on Old Judge cards. Why are they so commonly bleached out? Also, were baseball gloves used at this time of the game? I've been looking at these sweet little cards for quite some time, and can't find one ever with a glove shown in the picture.

Old judges are real photographs pasted onto a cardboard backing. Real photos lighten over time due to light exposure.

Most Old Judge collectors care more about image quality than the actual card itself.
