You got that right. You can still order 1/10 oz Platinum BU's , but only as part of a package of a 4 Coin set. Nobody gets off too cheap with these Coins.
I have inside information that the US Mint has had trouble getting their boxes ready for shipment as quickly as the coins can be minted. The coins have been minted.
This was behind the delay of the shipment of the 20th anniverary ASE's as well.
Well, you would NOT believe where our all American government has contracted to have these boxes made. I cannot expound further.
Raven: You did not "miss out." I am sure there are many collectors who would be willing to split their order with you by buying a 4 pc set and letting you have the 1/10 oz piece at cost but since they keep 3 of 4 coins they also keep the box. But then again, they might be flexible.
