I'm glad Howard posted. The Shield nickels sometimes don't get the recognition because there are so many varieties, but these two DDO's are definitely cool. Of course the two Indian cent varieties are also cool.

There are 2 Indian cent varieties, commonly called Die 1 and Die 2 or S-1 and S-2 (S stands for Rick Snow, who wrote the book). The S-1 is the more valuable of the two varieties. To see the doubled LIBERTY, you'll need at least a Fine or VF coin, which in Coin Values are $850 and $1500 respectively.
