OT: Is there a jeweler in the house?

Sorry to post this here but I am looking for a 3/4 carat diamond for Mrs BigE and would prefer to get one from someone I can trust here. Any help appreciated, thanks-----BigE

That's the equivalent of saying you'd like a 1920 Lincoln Cent for a gift. Now that you've decided on what, then Rd, RB, BN, AU58-MS70. There's quite a price spread. Top dog is a IF diamond, then white or do you prefer color? There are places to purchase that will but it back at any time for the price paid. Good luck. Mike
They are both very good with diabroker being the best IMO, and both have better prices then Blue Nile. There are also some good vendors on the forums at www.diamondring.com
Whatever you get, remember that CUT is the most important factor in how the stone will look, get at least an "excellent" or "ideal" cut stone and sacrifice on color or clarity a bit if you have to.
And stay FAR away from any mall jewelry stores or any type of fracture filled or otherwise enhanced stone IMO.
