For some reason the hit counter on my auctions have reset themselves. I have never seen this happen before or heard about it. Has it happened to anyone else?

It's not a big deal, I just like to know how many people are looking.

My counters all reset yesterday on my auctions too!!! I'm with you, it's kinda nice to know if people are actually "stopping by" for a look or not!!! What causes them to reset....anyone know????

Our "My Ebay" page has been doing weird tuff lately. Not showing items sold or watching

EBAY's "free counters" are VERY inaccurate, anyway.

There are some shareware counters on google that
are better. At least they do not show "4" visitors, five
seconds after you list your items.

Faulty counters are a consumer fraud. They fool sellers
into thinking there are tons of visitors. They fool buyers
by making them think there is great potential competition
for the item. EBAY benefits from both sets of mistaken
beliefs.

I'm going to assume that they lost data and had to go to a back up server or something similar. I guess we will never know.
