That's mega nice! Any chance that's one of the coins from the fresh 1928 that Goldberg's sold last year or the year before that? That dozen or so 1928's had killer color and monstrous eye appeal, most were NGC *...and they brought hefty premiums over the slabbed grade. I don't believe they were graded higher than 65 and 66, but those 66's were awesome.

I bought this 4 years ago from a most unusual source. I received an email from a small dealer who saw my set and I only had a 66. He sent this and I nearly went blind!!
Now again, the bad news...I sold THIS to Steve Duckor for a huge premium this year...he loved it, I was buying some big dated high end coins and so, why not? As much as he paid me....he'll get TWICE as much in the context of his set! Coins like this are remembered. I wish I still had it.
