What do you think of this one??

Here is a recent purchase. A rather common coin. The more common year of the 2 and circulated at that. That being said what do you think of it? What would you pay for something like this??

Thats what I say as well. Dipped like soo many other coins, but not harshly clean.

<< <i>I have an ancient silver Roman coin that was bright silver when I bought it. Only a $35 coin. I have had it sitting raw on a window ledge for about a year. It now has a very similar toning to the coin in the OP. (I do not have a digital camera that is good at photographing coins). >>
It's funny that proper cleaning of coins is accepted by ancient coin collectors since virtuall all coins are found buried.

<< <i>I like the second coin much better, but the first one is interesting and unusual, I'll give it that. If I could have it in the $10-12 range I would certainly snatch it up as a neat novelty, but I would not want it enough to actually pay up for it. >>
You and me both. You hit the magic number right on the head. I picked both of these up for 10.00 each. What a bargin on the pair if you ask me.
