Ever Make a Bonehead Mistake Bidding on Ebay Items, Only to Realize it's Too Late?

I found an auction of 11 1911 Lincoln Cents in VG for $2.50. I got so excited that I thought them to be 1911-S coins and put down a max of $10. Well, you could say that I paid close to $10 for them. The sad part is I didn't even realize it until the 2nd day I had them in my hand.

Well, after 3 days of the auction I realized I was bidding on a MS 41-D cent. I paid about $18 for this BN "toned" coin.

<< <i>Yep. I once snapped up what I thought was a stupidly low BIN for a pile of assorted proof sets. I should have read the description instead of just the title. It was a bunch of leftover coins, a couple from each set. To add insult to injury, it was a Blue Moon listing.

Didn't I see a quote from you in their "best customer" reviews?
Needless to say everywhere on the auction it stated NGC MS66* in bold 24 font...and then in like 4 font it did state the coin had been removed from the holder. The seller wasn't happy about the return but he had a clearly stated return policy on his auctions if the purchaser was unhappy for any reason so....I was not happy and frankly.....how the coin would have ever received a star is beyond me....no way jose....

That's quite a confession. You should feel better now.
Last spring, when I was looking at a bunch of PCGS lincolns, I saw a 58MS68RD that looked like it was flying under the radar so I quickly placed a bid.
A few minutes later I was the proud owner of a pretty knicked up NTC holdered cent.

I know I did when it came some auctions for coins...to many to actually recall.

Only once or twice a month.
I was cruising the auctions on eBay one night recently and saw a 1964 Kennedy PR68CAM for something like BIN for $275.00. My mind was reading "Accented Hair" into the auction and I started the process of BIN and right before I committed to it, I read the auction again and realized it was just a 1964. Whew!
Other than that one, I don't think I have screwed up lately although do not check my feedback or you might feel otherwise.

Never Ebay when you're bored on payday.
Bid $899 on this one
For some reason, don't ask why cause I haven't a clue, I thought I was bidding on rolls of 1/10 oz. AGE's...
I didn't realize what I had done until 5 hours prior to auction end. Bidding was at about $250 or so. Thought I was gonna make a killin, then the light came on, too late to retract.
Anyhoo I've got 2 rolls of ASE on the way.
