Maybe this post is more suited for the registry board but I like posting here better.
Question - what are your thoughts on building a 52 set in strict PSA 3? I mean, it is "the" set and it is "Very" good, right? Are there plentiful 3's out there? What's the going rate for them, excluding high's, stars, etc? What would the estimate for completing the set be? About how much would the keys run? Would a set in strict 3 hold it's value? Any responses are welcome.

doing the set in psa 3 wont be too bad for you $ wise. of course the high numbers is where it adds up. i would venture to say that the average high number in psa 3 is about $100 per. if you want precise values, go to vintagecardprices. it shows past results. i use it all the time to set my snipes. i am a few card short of my 2 sets. i started about 1 year ago. there are alot of miscuts in the set so if i did another set in psa3, i would accept the rounded corners but look for centered cards. its a pretty straightforward set to build. not really any surprises. my best guess right now if you build the set in psa3, the cost will be in the range of $22000 ish.
