SEGS Got This One Right - Well, Close

I'll assume they mean PooR 1 and not PRoof 1 - image - Thanks to fellow board member segoja for this coin.
Now, will it cross??

Maybe it's a circulated branch mint proof?

I never liked "PR" as an abbreviation for Proof, for this reason. I think PO for Poor and PF for Proof are better -- less ambiguous.

Agreed. Every now and then I accidentally find myself writing "PR" for Poor, forgetting it's usually used for "Proof."

I thought that poor and fair should never be abbreviated...this must have changed.

Poor and Fair probably don't really have standard abbreviations really. I like using "Fr" for fair, "Pr" for poor (indeed using the non-standard lower-case letters), and "PF" for proof. However, I prefer using "Basal State" or "BS" instead of poor.
