BGS to PSA?

Looking for some help. Has anyone ever done a cross over from BGS to PSA? I have a handful of cards that I am thinking about having crossed over. They are all 9s or 9.5s and I want to make sure that they stay that way with PSA or else I would like to leave them in the BGS holders. Any one with some help?

1. bgs 9 became psa 8
2. bgs 9.5 became psa 9
3.bgs 9 became psa 10
4.bgs 9.5 became psa not holdered did not meet minimum size requirement
Older bgs slabs are the way to go when cracking. I took a chance with some newer ones and it didnt come out that good.

I crossed a BGS 9.5 (new label) into a PSA 10. I also failed on a BGS 9 (new holder) into a PSA 9. I have three more going this month (all new labels), so I will have more results after that.
I had busted many cards from holders to cross to PSA. It took a couple of subs for some of them, but the BGS 9.5s eventually got into the PSA 10 holders that I wanted.

<< <i>with the BGS 9 that failed to cross into a PSA 9. Do they leave it in the BGS case? >>
Yes, and they will also take the grading fee. Just be sure to make what you want for a minimum grade. If you put nothing, they will crack it. If you want any PSA grade, put a 1. Anything else, from what I understand, it will be left in its current holder.
I still have some bgs cards that will stay in their slabs because of the over grading they received from Beckett.

<< <i>lawnmowerman....that crossover you had is the exception, not the norm....you must have gotten the graded on a good day, cause i have never heard of all 10's in any submission, no matter how small.....again, i think that is a bad example (not your fault) of a BGS to PSA crossover >>
Actually, it has absolutely nothing to do with "getting the grader on a good day". The cards I speak of, are cards I submitted to bgs before I started using psa. The cards were perfect and bgs doing their typical "tougher" grading on small subs because I was not a "big spender" with them did not give me a single 9.5. The highest grade was a 9.
So, I cracked them out and sent them to psa and they were graded correctly.
I am the first to say bgs sucks, which they do. They are a joke, grading everyting 9.5 now. A few years ago they were too tough (unfairly tough)
When doing a bgs to psa crossover now ( with current bgs graded cards ) expect to get lower grades from psa unless you really pick and choose the best bgs cards as I already mentioned.
