Just too political with bad memories?
There is the memorial in Washington D.C. of course but why not a coin as well? I guess you need some kind of fund raising for
a good cause connection with it, maybe to help victims of agent orange?

There was a POW commem silver dollar issued in 1994 to help raise money for the POW Museum. Maybe someone can post a pic.
