Crimson Tide fire Mike Shula

Losing to Auburn was the final straw. I remember reading a few years ago how Mike Shula was being warmly received at Alabama,
how people thought he was great and he was very happy.

Things can certainly change quickly in college football.

  • I am not sure why anyone in their right mind would want that job now.

it is a terrible program, that with the exception of getting lucky with a 10-2 season last year they have sucked for a while now. Not to mention fired or lost 4 coaches in 6 years.

I think they are also already under NCAA sanctions for recruiting violations going back a few years ago.

I loved hearing on PTI yesterday how the program feels they are entitled to a 10 win season every year.

He won 10 games last year, but had just above a .500 record for his time there. Not sure firing him is going to make them any better, though.
  • Losing to Auburn four years in a row was too much for the Crimson Tide to take. Bye Bye Shula.
