Help with PCGS coin numbers, Jefferson Nickels

I'm pretty sure I've figured out which ones are satin finish by the pops. But that leaves three more numbers. The "P" mint has six numbers. Can some one fill me in on what's what.

Thanks,
Mike

are you curious on pops or submitting?

if submitting, use the first 4163 as they determine finish and steps

sinin1 - I submitted two 2000 "D" nickels using 84163, this was done at the Santa Clara show where they had the PCGS# book. I was looking at the pop report yesterday and noticed five numbers for the "D" mint and six for the "P" mint. The abrieviated number make since for submitting. But that brings up another question. The numbers for this abrieviated PCGS# number in the pop report?

    Thanks for the reply sinin1,

    Mike
