stamp collection evaluation

We have inherited our grandfather's stamp collection and would like to learn more of its value.
You can find some sample photos in:

Any information about the Schaubek albums (half filled) will be greatly appreciated.

Nothing jumps out at me. Question: The dates 1916-1976, are those the lifespan of the collector, or the dates the material covers?

It's very hard to gauge value from random snapshots. I see a lot of short sets (missing the highest and usually the most valuable denominations).

19th century and turn of the century is where more value is likely to be found.

Is British Commonwealth represented? Higher denominations from the era shown can be valuable.

As far as non-British European countries are concerned, I find the 1920s and 1930s to be somewhat of a "dead zone" with more value being found both before and after that period, semipostals notwithstanding...
