New Photographs of my growing Barber Half set posted, many thanks to P8nt for his fantastic work

I am so happy to announce that I now have pictures up for my Barber Half set on the registry. Not only is the project I have been wanting to get done now accomplished, but Ben, aka P8nt, was the photographer and did a stunning job on the photographs. I cannot truly express what an excellent job I felt he did but want to encourage all of you to take a look. Link to Barber Half Photographs
There are a few excellent photographers on this forum, but after working with Ben on this project I have to tell you I place his work right up there with the best and if any of you are considering having your coins photographed you have my unequivicol recommendation for Ben to do the job. Thank you so much Ben for everything.

I hope everyone enjoys viewing them.

Quite an accomplishment to get over half way w/ an uncirculated set of Barber Halves.
Congrats,
Tyler
Thanks for taking the time / making the effort to have your lovely coins imaged!
The 1912 with album toning is my favorite, followed by the 97o, 03o and the 14s. I think your 09s has the 'upside down S syndrome'
Best success in your continued hunt,
Don
That's one beautiful set you're working on. All the coins have beautiful toning, but I have to say I'm partial to the 97-O. Best of luck building the rest of the set.

Don, the 1912 is a coin that really has grown on me over time as well. It makes me think of a look I would guess from an old museum piece that has been in a case for decades. Without referring to my notes I believe this one was a successful crossover from NGC to PCGS.
Dan, interesting story on the 97-O. I had the opportunity to look at a PCGS 64 and the 63 I chose for the set at that same time. Harry had both at the time in Long Beach last spring and while the 64 was a nice coin I really liked the look of the 63 better. It took most of the day to decide on the 63 over the 64 and the $ was not a factor at that particular show. Once since then I have selected a 63 over a 64 in this set and that is the first coin that happened with. I am a sucker for nice peripheral old album toning as I guess anyone can tell with some of the choices I have made. But that coin is an example of buying the coin and not the holder, although there would have been no shame in owning the 64 either as it was a solid coin as well.
Tyler, you are sure right about those 00 - 02 "O" mints and the 04-S. And not too far away are the 1913 - 1915 P mints and a couple of others. With those toughies I am sure things will slow way down going forward as I continue to work on the set.
Becky, Winston, Larry, Bear, Daniel and Amanda I am glad each of you enjoyed the photos as well and for your kind words. And once again thanks to Ben for making the sharing of these possible. I have watched Ben for about a year now continue to grow in his photography skills through hard work and study. Of course I have to also thank those that made the coins available to me and in my comments under the individual coins I try to acknowledge each seller as well.
Isn't this forum great for the sharing and opportunity to see so many coins through photos and to hear each other's stories?
I like it here.

Excellent images. Thanks for taking the time and effort on having them done.
I have to agree with you (and others) about the 97-O. Great eye appeal !!
The 06-D in MS 61 ??? Looks a whole lot nicer than that !!!
The 1911-S ... my - my - my...what a tough date in MS 65 !!!
The one* and only AU 58 in your set - the 08-D { ? } is also a great looking coin. Wouldn't mind having that one myself !! There must be the faintest of rub on the cheek, otherwise I thought it was at least a 63.
The other "one" not in MS is a 1902-P AU 55, a grade which surprised me after viewing this coin. I really have a problem grading alot of heavily toned near MS coins, and this one certainly looks MS 63.
You've put together one heck of a set there.

If any set deserves a second look, this is it.
Nice job.

I have hard time seeing any rub on the 08-D as well. But if PCGS grades it a 58 it must be, right????

Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.
edited to add: excellent photos ben!
i love the 08 if its a 58 its worth 62+ money
The '08 is graded MS65. I think he meant 08-D, which is a very nice looking 58.
Nevertheless, a wonderful accomplishment and there are indeed some great looking coins here. Well done Glenn!!
Edit: I hit enter before I should have...I hate that!
