Cracking out a coin from the new ANACS holders

Anyone cracked a coin out of the new ANACS holders? Just acquired a very nice 1810/09 Clasic Head LC and I plan to free it from the holder. I extricated several coins in PCGS and NGC holders, but never a new ANACS holder. My prefered method which has worked with 100% succes on the two has been a hammer applied to the edges of the slab. How about ANACS

some have reported that a strong twist in the hands will do it

A local dealer told me that all you need to do is drop it once on the floor and the coin comes rolling out... They seem to very insecure

Take a deep breath and exhale strongly at the slab, it should shatter into dozens of pieces.

Actually, just leave it alone...... It should self-destruct shortly......... Much like ANACS itself !

i have not tryed the new holders but a hammer works fine for me,

I have done it with about 20 coins in the new holders. Very easy to do in your palm. Just give it a twist and it will crack right open. Watch the shards fromt he holder. I cut myself pretty bad on one.

Rather than crack it out, buy a few more.

The slab really wants to be closer to family.
