1984-85 Star MJ...Isn't it a red bordered card?

I had 3 of these, and they all were red bordered. Did they also have a black border for this card, or is this a fugazi?

I think these came from uncut sheets that were produced in the early 1990's. I believe they were sold on QVC or other TV seller. It was something like a novelty reprint, they used the black to differentiate them.

Ah, so it's a reprint sheet cut. I'm glad I found out. I wonder if the guys shelling out $2000+ know that. Also, the borders are really thin. It's probably near 1/8th inch short top to bottom and left to right.

He sold some other graded Star stuff for 10-15 dollars or so.

Who would pay $2300 bucks for an ungraded Star card from a guy with 13 feedbacks who never sold anything for
more than $20?

It looks freshly cut. Look at the bottom edge.

seems to me I've seen a blue version as well, I believe GAI will grade these. I know there are a LOT of counterfeits out there.

I think there's a white bordered version too.

There are other Jordans floating around that were never released in the 80's...an '86 Crunch N Munch, '86 Bulls Arena set.
