Drew Brees - MVP?

The guy has had an absolutely monster year so far. Today, without their best WR, he still throws for over 300 yards. 5 straight games of 300+ yards, already over 3000 yards.

Although it will be hard to compete with LT, Brees I think will garner some serious consideration.

    And to think Saban and Miami chose to sign Culppeper instead of Brees

    I can't understand why a team like the Raiders, who desperately needed a QB, didn't sign him...he would have been vastly better than Brooks, and would have given them insight into a division rival.

    Tomlinson is still the MVP right now, but Brees is a very very close second.

    Unless he goes into a terrible slump or gets hurt, there's no way Ladainian isn't the MVP.

    Very nice season so far for Brees.
