    Nice example!
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

It looks dipped out... BUT THAT COULD JUST BE THE PICTURE. AU53

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

  • I'll go with AU-53. The area under Liberty's chin and the eagle's wings look hairlined to me (although I'm no expert).
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

I'd say somewhere between 53 and 58. The image is pretty bright and harsh, and it's hard to tell exactly how much detail is worn off, and how much of the loss of detail is wear and how much is the typical mushy O-mint strike. It's also hard to gauge how much luster remains.

The 55s have it! It is in a PCGS AU55 Holder! I am still tweaking my photography.

I still see some luster in the protected areas but not enough for 58 so I'll go with 55, possibly 53.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

<<<Hard to say from that image. The coin looks "washed out". Is the appearance from wear or over dipped? Could be au55 to ms 65>>>

I usually don't refute other member's guess opinions but look at the protected area in front of Liberty's face and around the left stars and compare to the disturbed field in between. There's your circulation wear.

Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
