I've never seen an 1894cc so when I came across this one, I knew I had to have it! I just hope no one outbids me...

Not only a non-existant date. but a HORRIBLE counterfeit to boot. the '94' is all messed up and the reverse looks like a classic CAST counterfeit. not to mention that the "CC" mintmark letters are too fat......

Sure they do. but most people who see them don't bother. We've had some success here on the boards getting these auctions taken down. But I'd rather Ebay didn't hire a legion of coin experts to police their auctions. Ebay fees are high enough. I'll watch out for myself, thank you.

Don't ever bid on coins from Curio Art they are all cast forgeries. Ebay is letting them get away with these listings because of the way they carfully word the description! Don't be fooled!

That is not so. I have reported many fakes, including this one, most of them are taken down, and I have never had any trouble with my account.
